One of our favorite recipes around here is Ranch Pork Chops.
I stock up on pork chops when they are on sale and mix them with Ranch Dressing mix and cream of chicken soup. If we aren’t going to make them right away I stash them in the freezer for later.
They are not only easy (just pork chops with 2 other ingredients!) but really tasty. The meat is always deliciously tender after cooking in the Crock Pot.
3-Ingredient Slow Cooker Ranch Pork Chops
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 4-6 uncooked pork chops
- 1 envelope of dry Ranch dressing mix
- 2 cans (approx. 10 or 11 oz. each) Cream of Chicken soup (I don’t add any water)
To prepare right away: Put all ingredients in slow cooker and cook on LOW for 4-6 hours.
To freeze: Put all ingredients in gallon size ziplock freezer bag, label with date/instructions/etc (freezes for up to 3 months). To prepare, thaw (overnight in the fridge, or under running water) then pour everything into the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 4-6 hours.

I made these and loved them. I used frozen pork chops so I could cook longer while I was at work. I put frozen chops in first, poured soup over top, sprinkled on ranch dressing mix and then cooked for 8 to 10 hours on low. Worked great.
Did you use boneless chops? My pork chops always come out dry when cooked in the slow cooker.😞
You need plenty of liquid. It should cover your ingredients.

Can’t wait to try them with some of our farm raised fresh pork.
Can you substitute chicken or something? My husband isn’t a fan of pork
Not sure if you have already done this, but I am planning to substitute with chicken later next month. I have to get through all the meals I have already made before I make new ones. I don’t see why this would not work for chicken. While pork has a different flavor, the ingredients go with just about any meat you want to use.
Yes, you can use chicken. I just made them the other night. Didn’t have cream of chicken soup so used clam chowder. Hubby really loved it. Also, put in some chopped carrots and diced potatoes. Get your veg and protein in one dish.

I tried this recipe this past weekend and it was delicious!! Perfect for chilly weather, total comfort food. I served it with mashed potatoes. Yum!
Delicious!! My first meal with my new crock pot. I stirred all ingredients together, used 6 center cut bone in chops and cooked for 5 hours on low. Halfway through cooking I gave it a quick stir. Served with mashed potatoes, mixed veggies & kings Hawaiin rolls. Yum! Thank you!

Do I mix the ranch dressing in with the soup or rub it into the Pork chop? This sounds like there will be some sauce once it is done. What do you serve the soup over, or does it just evaporate?
I just throw everything together and mix it. You could rub the ranch on the pork chops first if you want; I’m just too lazy for that, haha.
We usually serve the leftover sauce on rice, green beans, or mashed potatoes. 🙂

made it tonight and everyone loved it, might not cook as long though(5 hrs on low and they were falling off the bone.) the sauce I used as a gravy and it was delicious
What size needed for can of Cream of chicken soup?
10 ounce cans 🙂
I don’t have a slow cooker, unfortunately 😦 can I use the oven or stovetop? Also, I can’t get ranch dry in packets in Ireland, only in a bottle of like salad dressing, do you think I could use that, any idea how much? Is the soup condensed? Thanks :0
You can make your own dry ranch mix! 🙂
I just made these tonight and they were AMAZING!!! Mom and I decided that they should be served on a bed of rice. Stepdad and daughter had them with loaded mashed potatoes and corn. Since it was a new recipe for us I only made enough for everybody to have 1 chop. I’m NEVER making that mistake again. Thank you so much for sharing my family’s new favorite recipe.
[…] https://recipebookandmore.wordpress.com/2013/04/01/3-ingredient-slow-cooker-ranch-pork-chops/ One tip – I froze the soups and pork chops in gallon freezer bags laying them flat on top of one another. That saved a lot of space in my freezer. If you don’t have time to thaw the soups in the refrigerator before reheating, you can just break apart the frozen soup into smaller pieces that will fit in a soup pot. […]

I am Jessica from sixcleversisters.com. This recipe would be great in an upcoming recipe roundup. Would it be okay to use one photo and a link back to your blog?
I’ll look forward to hearing from you.
Have a great day!

Sure thanks!!!
Thanks!
I have a 2 quart crock pot. How many pork chops and cans of cream of chicken will fit in it? If I need to reduce the quantity, how much will I need?
Hmmm, maybe half of everything? That’s just a guess. Or just mix an entire batch in a ziplock bag and add what you can to your slow cooker. You can freeze whatever is left for later. 🙂
