SLOW COOKER CHICKEN CAESAR SANDWICHES – Here’s an easy recipe; just cook chicken, Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, and parsley in the Crock Pot, shred with forks, and serve on sandwich buns topped with crispy lettuce. YUM. We ate these warm, but I bet they would be good cold too, sort of like a chicken salad sandwich.
Slow Cooker Chicken Caesar Sandwiches
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 1 lb. uncooked boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- ½ cup Caesar dressing
- ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 Tablespoon parsley
- 2 teaspoons pepper
- lettuce leaves
- Kaiser rolls
WHAT YOU DO:
Place chicken in slow cooker. Pour ½ cup water on to chicken and cook on low for 3-4 hours.
Remove chicken from slow cooker and shred with two forks. Drain water.
Return chicken to slow cooker and mix in dressing, parmesan, parsley, and pepper.
Cook on low for 30 more minutes. Remove and serve on rolls topped with letttuce.
