Here’s a project I worked on with leftover materials from some felt bird ornaments I made last year: DOG ORNAMENTS. Woof! ūüôā You could also hot glue a magnet to the back instead of attaching a loop, if you wanted to make a magnetic pooch. If you have a strong enough magnet, you could even stuff it inside¬†before stitching the ornament closed.

Just customize with your favorite colors of wool felt, button eyes, and embroidery thread. I used both ribbon, and black elastic, for hanging loops. The possibilities are endless!

1st birthday photo shoot idea - paper pennant banner, big bowl of Os

I took a few photos for our littlest guy’s 1st birthday. I set him up in our dining room to use the floor and the wall as a backdrop, and made sure we were close to the windows to get lots of awesome natural¬†light.

For a simple background I hung up the paper party banner that I made, and for about 3.5 seconds (ha!) I was able to get a couple of shots with the fabric party hat I also made.

Candy Wrapper Zipper Pouch

I made a pouch using iron-on vinyl, fabric, empty M&M wrappers, and a zipper, using a tutorial at punkinpattern.blogspot.com.

Our son loves hoarding safely keeping things inside of it: money, toy cars, martian men, etc¬†ūüôā

I have all the supplies to make more, which I’m excited to do (someday!).

Here’s how it turned out:
